Changes In Life Northolt
Life in Northolt, a suburban area found in West London, has significantly transformed over the years. There’s been a striking shift in various aspects, including community structure, infrastructure, and economic activity. Historically a region marked by farmland and expanses of green, it has experienced significant urbanisation, moving forward into the 21st century whilst preserving its rich heritage.
Over decades, the community structure of Northolt has drastically evolved. Originally a predominantly middle-class neighbourhood, there has been a gradual increase in cultural and ethnic diversity. This has given birth to an eclectic and vibrant mix of traditions and practices, enriching the social fabric of the community. The continuously growing population has also led to an expansion in the available public services, with an increasing number of schools, health care centres, and recreational facilities.
Infrastructure and economic activity in Northolt have also seen substantial changes. From the 1960s onwards, extensive housing developments replaced many of the large farm estates. The town has been actively seeking a balance between urban development and preservation of its green landscapes, with a focus on sustainable living. Economically, there’s a shift from traditional agricultural activities towards more service-oriented businesses. Retail, services, and entertainment sectors are booming, providing excellent job opportunities for residents while also boosting local economy.
In a nutshell, the changing face of Northolt serves as a microcosm of broader changes happening across many regions of the UK. The town continues to evolve, combining tradition with progression, creating a promising future for those that dwell within its bounds. Simultaneously, efforts to maintain their commitment to environmental consciousness serve as an example for other towns to follow.

About me
Let’s get the formalities over and done with. I am a Certified Life Coach, NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner, a professional member of ANLP, and a member of ICF.
I have a lot of life experiences under my belt. I have hitchhiked around Texas as a youngster, visited many countries, and mentored others in the field of education. I also ran my own business providing early years childcare for over 20 years, one of my greatest professional achievements to date.
But hitting my 50s a few years ago, was a pivotal moment. I felt I had lost my sense of identity and to some extent my health.
I knew I needed and wanted to change, to re-evaluate my life and to overcome my personal battle with my weight.
In the end, that personal journey of overcoming my own challenges led me to a total career change and to re-training as a coach because I knew I could and wanted to help others. I am not going to say my own journey was not daunting at times, but I hope my personal transformation will help inspire others.
Oh, and I love fresh flowers, Latin music, football and reading – which is my greatest joy.
What are my values?
