Changes In Life Norwood
Life in Norwood, a picturesque London borough, has undoubtedly undergone significant transformations over the years. Traditional markets have given way to contemporary shopping complexes, and old terraced houses have slowly but surely been replaced with modern apartments. These developments echo the rapid urbanisation that forever alters the face of cities around the globe. Still, it is clear that Norwood maintains its unique charm, preserving fragments of its historical past while embracing the future.
One noteworthy aspect of Norwood’s evolution is its burgeoning arts and culture scene. A profusion of art galleries, theatres, and music venues now forms an integral part of Norwood’s community fabric, consolidating the district’s role as a cultural hub in South London. Simultaneously, advancements in public transport infrastructure and the proliferation of expansive green spaces and recreation areas have also contributed to the neighbourhood’s transformation, improving the quality of life for its diverse population. These shifts in Norwood’s socio-economic landscape particularly reflect the needs of its growing population and the changing dynamics of urban living.
Yet, amid these stark transformations, Norwood remains firmly connected to its roots. Its rich history is evident in the architectural grandeur of surviving period homes, churches, and landmarks. Plus, long-established local markets continue to thrive, serving as a vibrant reminder of Norwood’s palpable community spirit and unique identity. The evolution of Norwood, therefore, represents a delicate balance between retaining nostalgia for a simpler time and embracing opportunities brought about by progress and change.

About me
Let’s get the formalities over and done with. I am a Certified Life Coach, NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner, a professional member of ANLP, and a member of ICF.
I have a lot of life experiences under my belt. I have hitchhiked around Texas as a youngster, visited many countries, and mentored others in the field of education. I also ran my own business providing early years childcare for over 20 years, one of my greatest professional achievements to date.
But hitting my 50s a few years ago, was a pivotal moment. I felt I had lost my sense of identity and to some extent my health.
I knew I needed and wanted to change, to re-evaluate my life and to overcome my personal battle with my weight.
In the end, that personal journey of overcoming my own challenges led me to a total career change and to re-training as a coach because I knew I could and wanted to help others. I am not going to say my own journey was not daunting at times, but I hope my personal transformation will help inspire others.
Oh, and I love fresh flowers, Latin music, football and reading – which is my greatest joy.
What are my values?
