Changes In Life Southall
Southall, a district in West London, has witnessed a plethora of changes over the years. Known for its distinctive cultural vibrancy, the area is often hailed as ‘Little India’ due to its diversity and the plethora of Asian shops, businesses, and eateries. However, Southall’s current landscape is the result of significant transformations that have shaped and enhanced the vibrant feel of the area.
In recent years, Southall has been blessed with tremendous infrastructural developments, contributing to enhanced accessibility and lifestyle for its inhabitants. Modernised residential complexes, shopping arcades and efforts in beautifying the location have indeed metamorphosed Southall into an alluring district. Furthermore, the introduction of the Crossrail, projected to become fully operational in the next few years, is expected to bring a massive change, making Southall more accessible from central London and potentially escalating property prices.
Traditionally Southall was dominated by heavy industries such as the railway works. However, in the latter half of 20th century and the dawn of the 21st century, these industries witnessed a gradual decline leading to shifts in the employment sector. Now, the area boasts of robust trade and commerce, largely dominated by small businesses, retails, and restaurants. Southall is now a bustling cosmopolitan area, its changes reflective of the greater evolution experienced throughout London. It’s a testament to the area’s adaptability and resilience and it continually proves itself innovative and expansive as it navigates through these life changes.

About me
Let’s get the formalities over and done with. I am a Certified Life Coach, NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner, a professional member of ANLP, and a member of ICF.
I have a lot of life experiences under my belt. I have hitchhiked around Texas as a youngster, visited many countries, and mentored others in the field of education. I also ran my own business providing early years childcare for over 20 years, one of my greatest professional achievements to date.
But hitting my 50s a few years ago, was a pivotal moment. I felt I had lost my sense of identity and to some extent my health.
I knew I needed and wanted to change, to re-evaluate my life and to overcome my personal battle with my weight.
In the end, that personal journey of overcoming my own challenges led me to a total career change and to re-training as a coach because I knew I could and wanted to help others. I am not going to say my own journey was not daunting at times, but I hope my personal transformation will help inspire others.
Oh, and I love fresh flowers, Latin music, football and reading – which is my greatest joy.
What are my values?
